ROBOT CAR PARKING TECHNOLOGY

THE FUTURE OF PARKING

Robot Car Parking Technology maximize usable space for parking vehicles in commercial, residential and general use environments by taking the process of parking a vehicle. Robot Car Parking Technology automated parking system technology accommodates more vehicles in less space by eliminating the need for conventional garage driveways, ramps, passenger elevators, stairways and other infrastructure, freeing this space to park more cars. Robot Car Parking Technology offers cost effective fully automatic, unmanned underground or over-ground car parking system solutions, particularly for tight sites in urban areas where space is at a premium.

Automatic Parking System

Automatic multi-storey car parks provide lower building cost per parking slot, as they typically requires less building volume and less ground area than a conventional facility with the same capacity. However, the cost of the mechanical equipment within the building that is needed to transport cars internally needs to be added to the lower building cost to determine the total costs. Other costs are usually lower too, for example there is no need for an energy intensive ventilating system, since cars are not driven inside and human cashiers or security personnel may not be needed.

ADVANTAGES OF ROBOT CAR PARKING TECHNOLOGY

Imagine eliminate the need to search for an available parking space. Imagine never having to worry about the adjacent car door dinging your vehicle or fearing a late- night walk through a dark parking garage. Imagine Robot System’s automated parking system.

Robot System parking facilities automatically park, store and retrieve vehicles more efficiently, more quickly and more securely than conventional garages. By using the automated technology and tailoring each project to the specific needs of our clients, Robot System makes conventional garages obsolete by accommodating more vehicles in less space-often at lower cost.

TAILER MADE NEW GENERATION ROBOT PARKING SOLUTIONS
COST EFFECTIVE CONVENIENT SPACE OPTIMISATION PARKING TECHNOLOGY

Only 40% – 50% of the floor space in conventional garages is dedicated to parking. Robot System has no need for ramps, passenger elevators or stairs. Space between parked vehicles is minimised. Modular designs are customised to fit constraints of site.

No need for customer to search for parking space or to remember location of parked vehicle. Access to parking is personalised. Simple user-friendly access interface and software can be integrated with nearly any permit or pay system. Real-time system monitoring from parking space.
Any combination of above or below-ground access and storage possibilities. Façade can be custom tailored. Modular construction allows for easy expansion to meeting increased demand.
Theft, vandalism or accidental damage eliminated. Focus on personal safety through complete surveillance of transfer rooms.
Smaller footprint and volume. Shorter construction time. Minimal lighting and ventilation needed. No costly concrete repairs/maintenance. Lower liability insurance.
Reduced vehicle emissions. General energy savings.

LIFTING MECHANISM

DUO

The most advanced compact and reliable “robotic” parking system in the world! Robot System proudly introduces “Duo “, seamlessly parking and retrieving vehicles automatically, so you don’t have to. The Duo lifts all four tires of the vehicle in a completely seamless and innovative technique. The Duo allows the lowest floor to floor height of any system in the world. The Duo allows for easy and simple installation process with concrete or steel structure. The Duo is used with five types of delivery techniques, namely the Metro Trolley, Metro Trans, Metro Tower, Metro CL and Metro Cylinder techniques.

Specification
Length 126 in. (3200 mm)
Width 37 in. (950 mm)
Height 8 in. (200 mm)
MaximumTowing Weight 15,500 lb. (2500 kg)
Speed 39 in/sec (60 m/min)

DELIVERY TECHNIQUE

Robot System has developed six principal techniques for the delivery of a parked automobile into a designated parking space. Each of these techniques is specialized for particular requirements, including the size of the parking system and land constraints.

The Metro Trolley technique is ideal for parking facilities with ample land and/or building foot print

The vehicle lift delivers each automobile vertically with the use of a trolley on each floor to complete its parking process horizontally

Both concretes and steel structures can be used

The Metro Trans technique ideal for parking facilities with large capacities and extensive areas

A characteristic of the Metro Trans technique is the simultaneous vertical and horizontal movement

Both concrete and steel structures can be used

The Metro Tower technique is ideal for parking facilities with a relatively compact land area but with extensive structure height allowances

The parking process of the Metro Tower technique consists of the simultaneous vertical and horizontal movement, similar to the Metro TransTM technique, with its significant advantage of high elevation

The approximate capacity of a high elevation structure is limited to vertical movements of 20 floors or more. Both concrete and steel structures can be used

The Metro Tower technique is ideal for parking facilities with a relatively compact land area but with extensive structure height allowances

The parking process of the Metro Tower technique consists of the simultaneous vertical and horizontal movement, similar to the Metro Trans technique, with its significant advantage of high elevation

The Metro Cylinder technique is typically limited to vertical movements of 12 floors

The technique consists of a simultaneous circular and vertical movement

The approximate capacity of a high elevation refers to vertical movements of 12 floors or more

Both concrete and steel structures can be used

The Tower Elevator technique is an individual lower technique that is ideal for parking facilities with small land areas

The technique is ideal for 20-50 spaces, 2-4 spaces per floor and 10-30 floors

The technique is mainly used with steel structures

FAQ’S

The average retrieval time is approximately 90 seconds.

Although conventional parking garages normally do not accept oversize vehicles, parking facilities with the MPSystem can accommodate such vehicles by designing the first floor to be a selfparking area.

The first floor can be designed to accommodate waiting vehicles within the facility
MPSystems innovative software prioritizes multiple retrieval requests, maximising efficiency and minimising vehicle retrival times

The System will automatically switch to generator power to continue operation (Suppliment generator is not provided by Robot System).

Robot System will automatically utilise backup software in the case of a problem. In the unlikely event that both systems go down, vehicles can be retrieved manually.

Construction tolerance provides ±10mm.
Depending on the size of a project, a customer should allow X months for manufacture and factory testing, about 1-2 months to transport the system to a site and about 3-4 months to install and test the system
When properly maintained, the system will perform for many years. Thirty years is a reasonable cycle
